NFL writer predicts Detroit Lions going 3-13 this season

Tough crowd, huh?

One NFL writer doesn’t think very highly of the Detroit Lions. Nate Davis from USA Today has the Lions going 3-13 in the 2019-2020 season. Here’s his explanation:

“Difficult to envision coach Matt Patricia improving on his 6-10 debut. Four of their eight home dates come against 2018 playoff outfits — a figure that doesn’t include the Packers or Vikings. Two West Coast trips in season’s first half unlikely to help, either.”

The Lions do have a pretty intense schedule this season. Davis has the Bears and Vikings both winning 10+ games this season and the Packers finishing at 9-7.

Lions fans: what do you think of this prediction?
