Blake Griffin Explains Why Post Game Interviews Are Terrible

On Wednesday’s Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, NBA star Blake Griffin explained why post-game interviews are usually bad.

Griffin said, “After the game, you have to do media and you have to sit at a press conference and answer questions. I think people always think athletes are like really stupid and it’s not that we’re stupid it’s that we’ve just exercised for two hours and there’s not really enough oxygen in our brains.”

To prove his point, Griffin had Fallon run in place for 15 seconds. After the exercise, Griffin started peppering Fallon with questions.

Fallon mumbled his replies to which Griffin said, “See how stupid that sounds?”

Do you think athletes should be used to doing interviews right after the game is over? Do you like Griffin’s explanation?
