There’s been a lot of movement across the NBA through free agency and trades over the past three weeks.
Anthony Davis is now a Laker. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are with the Clippers. Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant moved to Brooklyn.
Did I miss anything else? Oh wait, Russell Westbrook is teaming up with his old pal James Harden in Houston.
The Detroit Pistons were rumored to be a team in the running for Westbrook after he requested a trade from Oklahoma City. Even though, they were unable to land the superstar point guard, Detroit made some moves of it’s own.
They added Tim Frazier, Derrick Rose, and Markief Morris to stabilize their bench with better depth than last season.
The Pistons also drafted Sekou Doumbouya with the 15th overall pick, which many experts thought he would have been taken before that.
In a mild off-season for the most part, Grant Hughes from Bleacher Report ranked Detroit 23rd on his list of teams across the league based on their off-season moves. Here’s his explanation:
