Beth Chapman Dead At 51

Beth Chapman, the wife of Dog the Bounty Hunter’s Duane “Dog” Chapman, died on Wednesday (June 26) after fighting for her life in a Hawaii hospital. She was 51.

On Wednesday morning, Dog took to Twitter to share his farewell to his wife. “It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain. Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side,” he wrote. Over the weekend, Chapman was admitted to Hawaii’s Queen’s Medical Center and placed in a medically-induced coma amid her battle with Stage 2 throat cancer since 2017. After undergoing a successful procedure for the condition that same year, the cancer returned and prompted the star to go under the knife once again in November to have a tumor removed from her throat. Things only took a turn for the worse when Chapman was hospitalized in April 2019 after “accumulation of fluid in her lungs,” which prompted an emergency operation.
