Giannis Antetokounmpo wins 2019 NBA MVP

To not much surprise, Milwuakee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo was named the league MVP at last night’s NBA awards.

He averaged a career in points (27.7), rebounds (12.5), and assists (5.9). The Greek Freak also shot a staggering 57 percent from the field this past season. With numbers like that, it’s easy to see why he won.

He helped the Bucks have a league-high 60 wins last season. His head coach Mike Budenholzer was also named head coach of the year at the NBA awards.

Other awards worth noting: Luca Doncic was named rookie of the year and Lou Williams was named sixth man of the year.
