Just when you think things can’t get much worse for the Detroit Tigers.
They’re 25-40 this season and are coming off a series where they lost two out of three games to the Kansas City Royals (22-46). They’re No. 1 prospect Casey Mize had to leave last night’s game with an apparent injury.
Casey Mize has just been taken out of the game. Catcher Kade Scivicque saw something, and brought everybody with him. Not good… not good at all. pic.twitter.com/uHtVegvlxV

He’s been the light at the end of the tunnel that many Tigers fans are looking at as the team is rebuilding. According to Anthony Fenech of the Detroit Free Press, Mize left last night’s game with shoulder soreness.
This could be nothing serious so don’t panic yet. However, it just seems like nothing can go right for this franchise right now.
