Detroit Lions trading Michael Roberts to Patriots

The Detroit Lions continue to stay active during the offseason.

Their latest move is trading tight end Michael Roberts to the New England Patriots.

General manager Bob Quinn drafted him in the 2017 NFL draft. Roberts has just struggled to see the field in his time with Detroit.

Now with a new and improved tight end group including Jesse James and first-round pick T.J. Hockenson, it would be even harder for Roberts to see any playing time with the Lions.

Detroit received a future draft pick from the Patriots, according to the Detroit News.
